- Pursued a highly successful career in public health and community development in the Philippines where she blended her role as wife to Winlove A. Cudal and mother of 7 children. She immigrated to the USA in 1992 and eventually became a naturalized US citizen. She is an advocate of Filipino American community empowerment, health and physical fitness and social justice issues, Awarded a doctorate in humanities.(honoris causa) by the University of the City of Manila. Currently serves as Chair, National Federation of Filipino American Associations, Region 10 (San Diego, Imperial, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. .
