Establishing the California Health Benefit Exchange: Webinar

Join CPEHN’s first webinar, Equity and the ACA: Establishing the California Health Benefit Exchange on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at 10 am. Guest speaker Peter Lee, Executive Director of the Health Benefit Exchange, will provide a brief overview of the Exchange and discuss opportunities for stakeholder involvement in critical policy decisions that will impact how our diverse communities access quality, affordable coverage through the Exchange.

California’s Health Benefit Exchange has an enormous potential to reduce health disparities by allowing individuals and small businesses to shop for and buy affordable health insurance. Of the 1.7 million people eligible for subsidized health insurance through the Exchange, 62% will be from communities of color.
