Each spring and fall the Foundation for Change solicits grant applications for projects targeting specific causes. Please check this page in August to learn about our plans for the fall and in February to learn about plans for the spring.

AWARDS

The Foundation for Change is also proud to offer two special awards to deserving grantees:

The Cua Award
Honoring our late board member, community activist, and friend who died of AIDS in 1994, the Foundation for Change established this award to promote and continue the work of James Mitsuo Cua. Within the realm of LGBT rights, Jim gave special attention to women, people of color, government and political processes, and journalism. The Cua Award is presented to one organization each year.

The Danzig Award
Honoring Foundation for Change founder Victoria Danzig, this annual award is given to recognize excellence in grassroots community organizing.
