The Foundation for Change is a 501c3 non-profit corporation dedicated to social justice values and committed to building a solid foundation for the future of the greater San Diego region. We are building this foundation through a series of campaigns – whether it be for disaster relief, census outreach, civic participation, healthcare access, or human rights.

The building blocks to this foundation are:

• visionary leaders with the cultural competence to connect powerfully to historically under-represented communities, harnessing their extraordinary potential in pursuit of the common good.
• strategic organizations, which take seriously the changing demographics of our region and best practices in community organizing.
• nimble networks which take advantage of advances in high technology and social media.

Leaders, organizations and networks like these are “neither left nor right but out in front.” They are committed to creating a future marked by Democracy for All, Health for All and Equality for All.
